Children's Privacy Policy
Children’s Privacy Policy
The HealthyRoster.com Website and mobile application (the “Website and App”) are operated by Healthy Roster, Inc. located at PO Box 1114, Dublin, Ohio. Healthy Roster takes the private nature of children’s personal information very seriously. This Children’s Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and disclose the personal information from your children when they use the Website and App. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by Healthy Roster through the Website and App. Please read this notice very carefully.
The Personal Information We Collect
We require consent from a parent or guardian before we collect the personal information from children under 13 years of age. Information is only collected from a child under thirteen years of age at the Website and App after a parent or guardian has accepted an invitation sent to their email address at the request of an athlete’s coach or organization administrator. By accepting the invitation and creating an account for your child you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your child’s personal information as provided herein. Your child is not permitted to use the Website and App without your direct consent and guidance. We require that you assist your child in using the Website so that you may monitor the personal information that they are disclosing. During the registration process, you will be asked to input personal information about your child such as name and email address and may be asked additional profile questions regarding their use of the Website and App. When using the Website and the App, you, your child’s coach or your child’s assigned athletic trainer may input personal information, including sensitive medical information. The amount and type of information that Healthy Roster gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. Healthy Roster collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of your child’s interaction with Healthy Roster. Children can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities. If you do not wish your child’s coach or assigned athletic trainer to input personal information about your child you may change your account settings.
Healthy Roster allows the coach, administrator, parent or guardian of a youth athlete to video chat with a certified athletic trainer. Healthy Roster does not record, transcribe or otherwise collect information regarding the content of the communications during a video chat. Healthy Roster will not access or otherwise view or hear a video chat during transmission. The participants in the call may, however, manually input information discussed during the call into the Healthy Roster Website and App. Healthy Roster may maintain a record regarding the date, time, participants and duration of a video chat. Healthy Roster will not use or disclose this record except as otherwise provided in this Policy.
If you believe your child may have submitted personal information to the Website and App without your permission or consent, please contact us via email at help@healthyroster.com and we will delete the information.
Website Access Information and Use of Cookies
Like most website operators, Healthy Roster collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Healthy Roster’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Healthy Roster’s visitors use its Website. From time to time, Healthy Roster may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its Website. Healthy Roster also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses and may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to the Website. For instance, Healthy Roster may monitor the Website to help identify spam.
Like many websites, the Website may use “cookies” to collect information. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor’s computer, and that the visitor’s browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Healthy Roster may use cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the Website, and their Website access preferences. Website visitors who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using the Website, with the drawback that certain features of Website may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Use and Disclosure of your Personal Information
Please be aware that by accessing and using the Website and App you are agreeing to allow your coach or athletic trainer to view information about you or your child, which may include sensitive medical information, which has been uploaded to the Website and the App. You may limit this access by changing your account settings.
By using the Website and App the coaches and personal trainers have expressly agreed (i) not to use information about you or your child except as necessary to access, communicate, track, treat or otherwise respond to an injury or condition that impacts an athlete’s ability to participate in the designated activity or to participate in an authorized use of the Services; and (ii) not to disclose your or your child’s information to any third party outside of the Services without express written consent.
Healthy Roster will use the personal information you submit to us to provide you full access and functionality of the Website and App. Accordingly, personal information may be used for the following purposes: (i) to provide and improve our services, features and content; (ii) to administer your use of our services and accounts; (iii) to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate the Website and App; (iv) to better understand your needs and interests; (v) to fulfill requests you may make; (vi) to personalize your experience; (vii) to provide you with announcements, notifications related to your use of the Website and App and other communications such as electronic newsletters, promotional e-mails or similar messaging; (viii) to provide service announcements; (ix) to protect against users seeking to hack into the Website or the App; and (x) to assess the level of general interest in the Website and App and specific information included in the Website and App.
Except as provided elsewhere in this policy Healthy Roster will not disclose your child’s personal information to third parties outside of Healthy Roster and its service providers, affiliates, vendors and business partners unless Healthy Roster has the good faith belief that disclosure is reasonably necessary to:
• cooperate with law enforcement authorities or comply with legal process served on Healthy Roster or the Website or App;
• protect the property and rights of Healthy Roster, its affiliates or a third party;
• protect the safety of the public or any person;

• complete, as permitted by law, a business sale, asset transfer, merger, acquisition or reorganization; or
• fix or debug problems with the Website or App servers, software or service.
If Healthy Roster discloses your child’s personal information pursuant to one of the above-mentioned conditions, it will do so only to the extent necessary.
You have the option to agree to the collection and use of your child's information without consenting to the disclosure of the information to third parties.
